Victoria Ballard Bell is an architect with advanced degrees in both architecture and urban planning. She is co-author, with Patrick Rand, of Materials for Design, Princeton Architectural Press, 2006. The book focuses on the integral use of materials in the design process. Aimed at young designers, it serves as a supplemental sourcebook to the standard pedagogy of materials and methods. Bell formed Ballard Bell Architecture in 2007. Her presentation is titled "Materiality for Design".
